The world is built for midgets
Mood:  down

Today I went out with my girlie.

We started off by going to the zoo and checking out the new exhibit they opened - its pretty cool. We also took a path that we had never taken before and saw a whole new set of animals. Every time we go, theres always something new to see. Viva las passports.

Is it "las" or "la" or "el"? Whatever.

They we got hungry and we went to Souplantation. Nothing was wrong with the food - its always good - but I just didnt eat as much as I normally do.

Then we decided to go to Belmont Park and ride the new rides that they opened.
First we went on the Giant Dipper coaster. Its celebrating its 80th year and its still really fun. Not as smooth as the newer steel beasts, or even the wooden ones, but its a classic.
Then we wanted to go on this thing called the Beach Blaster. Its hard to describe - its like those pirate boats that swing back and forth, but this is circular, four sided, and rotates while its swinging. Looked pretty fun. So I sit in the seat and the guy come over to lock us in and he pushes down really hard to the point where I cant move. I ask if he can lift it up some and he says "Actually, I have to push it down more. Alot more." No way. I can barely breath as it is, and he says I gotta get crushed more? But I give it the ol' college try and he pushes harder, but it still wont lock all the way. I look at him, he looks at me, and I tell him to try again. This time he practically jumps on it, and.... nothing. So he tells me that I cant ride it cuz it has to lock and if it doesnt it will stall the ride. For the first time ever in my life, I had to get off of a ride cuz I couldnt fit cuz of my height. How in the Hell can an amusement place create a new ride that cant fit all types of people? This is Southern California, we have big boys out here. Lame.
Then we went over to the other new ride called Chaos and before I even got on I asked the guy if Id fit and he looks at me and goes "Well try." This time I did fit, but I was so damn squished it wasnt funny. But on this ride Id rather be squished than too loose. Its like a giant wheel with ferris wheel chairs attached to it, and it rises into the air, and then tilts on its side, and starts spinning. And while youre spinning, the chairs are free to flip as they wish. I had to close my eyes and control my breath at one point cuz we went upside down with my face pointing at the ground and the only thing holding me in the chair was the bars that were squished around me - and the compressed even more and my dinner tried to escape. Thats the second ride that Ive almost thrown up on - the first was at Knotts Berry Farm and it was basically the same situation: hanging upside down with my weight pressed against the restraints. But I managed to get through both rides just fine.

Anywho. That was my day. And for all you short people out there....

I HATE YOU!!!
